The other major story in the papers this morning is Bihar Chief Minister Nitish  Nitish Kumar returning Gujarat's five crore aid to flood victims in his state.The Times of India questions if this is the first step towards the break-up of the JDU-BJP alliance ahead of the assembly polls in Bihar.
 
In a photograph on its front page captioned--"Homecoming for Pandits"-- the Hindu spotlights J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah greeting pilgrims at the Kheer Bhawani temple in Srinagar, which saw the biggest congregation of over 50000 Pandits, since their exodus 21 years ago.
The paper also has two interesting reportson its front page--one on MPs getting more freebies for travel across India and the other on the government slashing funds for the National Human Rights Commission.

The big story in the Financial papers is the Insurance Regulatory and Developmant Authority IRDA winning the battle against SEBI through a government ordinance, to regulate Unit linked Insurance Products, ULIPS.

Who said the dog is man's best friend? The Municipal Corporation of Delhi wants to prove it's the woman's best friend and saviour too. says a report in The Hindustan Times. While 100 women will be trained to become cab drivers, 100 dogs too will be trained, to accompany the women and ensure they are safe in the cab!!
